Disinformation and Hypocrisy from the Washington Post

Appearing on MSNBC’s “AM Joy, Washington Post columnist , ” Jennifer Rubin blamed media viewed by President Trump supporters  for downplaying the Coronavirus  threat and keeping their “core viewers” from taking precautions. She stated:
“There is a particular cruelty/irony that it is their [Fox News] core viewers, the Republican older viewers, who are the most at risk,” Rubin said. “And when you think about it, which party immediately canceled all of their rallies? Which party immediately started having their political figures really portray and use their lies as an example? It was the Democrats.”
“So, I hate to put it this way, but there will be less Democrat deaths because there will be less mass gatherings,”  “There will be less opportunities for people to congregate and share this horrible disease. So it is really a very short-sighted strategy.”
"I think the problem is going to be what happens unfortunately if we start to follow that Italian model where we have mass casualties, and our lives are not disrupted for a week or two, but we’re talking months. And that is going to be some serious stuff. And I don’t know if their brainwashing is so strong as to carry on and make excuses for Trump during that. But this is going to be some serious stuff."
And yet, this very same news organization continues demanding illegal immigrants be allowed across our southern border.  If this disease is "so horrible" and "serious stuff" why is the Washington Post demanding that thousands of potential virus carriers be allowed across our border? How did all these foreigners magically become immune to the disease?

It is the Washington Post that has the very short-sighted strategy. The virus is only "serious stuff" when it suites their political agenda otherwise they simply ignore its effects.

Additionally, Rubin's comments are more evidence of media bias. She shows the Post represents one political Party rather than the whole country.
