New York Times Threatens Free Speech and Medical Research

President Trump recently speculated on possible treatments for the cornavirus that medical researchers were testing. One such treatment he speculated on was using UV light inside the body "either thru the skin or some other way". The New York Times claimed the President was ridiculous and stated "Experts have long warned that ultraviolet lamps can harm humans if used improperly — when the exposure is outside the body, much less inside. The link between ultraviolet light and skin cancer is well established."

However,  Aytu BioScience in conjunction with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, is actually developing a UV light device designed to be inserted into the body via the trachea to kill pathogens, including the coronavirus.  The company is near the testing phase. Thousands of people began sharing Aytu's  demonstration video on Youtube.

This enraged the New York Times. Because President Trump is not a member of their political Party, the news organization wants any statements he makes discredited. They demanded that the demonstration video be removed from the internet and the research be hindered.

New York Times reporter Davey Alba tweeted:

I contacted Youtube about this video which is being shared on tons of replies on Twitter and Facebook by people asserting that it backs up Trump's idea throwing it out there that UV rays kill cornoavirus.

As a result, the video was immediately removed from Youtube. The Times then contacted Twitter. The biotech company's twitter account was subsequently suspended.

The left wing news organization is trying to hinder medical advancement and stamp out any discussion of ideas that does not originate from their own political Party. The New York Times actively tries to shut people up. They coordinate with Twiiter and Youtube (a Google subsidiary) to silence people.

The New York Times claims it is a standard bearer for free speech. However, their actions show they are actually a threat to free speech.
