The Times stated:
"The coronavirus recession has exacerbated the racial and income divides in America. Lifting restrictions too soon will make them worse and leave workers with a bleak choice.”Huh? They claim locking people out of their jobs exacerbates inequality but then claims allowing workers to go back to their jobs will make inequality worse.
The Times continued:
"In 2018, the typical Hispanic household earned three-quarters of what a typical white household earned, according to census data. The typical black household earned three-fifths of what the typical white household earned, and their household income had yet to return to pre-financial-crisis highs."
“The virus has only exacerbated that inequality, with minorities suffering both higher death rates and more financial harm,”Therefore, it would make sense to let minorities go back to work so they could decrease their financial harm. Yet the socialist news organization is strongly against allowing minorities to go back to work. Additionally, the left wing news origination completely ignored Asians in its so called 'household earning statistics'.
The news organization also stated:
"But states are already reopening, urged on by President Trump, who is eager to restart the United States economy. That push is likely to exacerbate longstanding inequalities, with workers who are college educated, relatively affluent and primarily white able to continue working from home and minimizing outdoor excursions to reduce the risk of contracting the virus."Factually, Asians have higher education levels than whites. However, the New York Times left out this information because it would decrease their ability to promote left wing racism and hate against whites. It should also be noted the Times favored Harvard University's discrimination admission policy against Asians in favor of Blacks.
The Times also said:
Higher earners and whites are far more likely to say they can work from home during the pandemic than lower earners and black and Latino Americans, according to an April poll for The New York Times.
Black and Latino Americans have less ability to withstand a prolonged job loss than whites, because they entered the crisis with lower incomes and less wealth.Notice how they state "Higher earners AND WHITES". They made their statement racial so they could continue promoting their own internal left wing racism. Additionally, their poll simply makes Asians disappear as if they dont even exist. Lastly, Additionally the news paper wants Latinos and Blacks barred from their jobs despite the fact the they "have less ability to withstand a prolonged job loss".
It seems as if these reporters are threatened by working Blacks and Latinos. Allowing these citizens back to their jobs makes them less reliant on the NYT's political Party for their own survival. Instead these Americans can rely on themselves.
Throughout the article, the left wing news organization continuously argues that Black and Latino Americans were far more likely than Whites to lose jobs and have financial difficulty as a result of the economic shutdown BUT Black and Latinos Americans should continue being barred from their jobs. The news organization completely ignored Asians.
The main purpose of the article was to promote left wing racism and hostility toward White Americans , devalue Asian Americans, and prevent Latino and Black Americans from earning an income. It appears NYT reporters are threatened by any economic independence of Latinos and Blacks. They would rather have them rely on the government for survival. Since most Times reporters are socialists, they view economic independence as a threat to their Party's power.
